Felicitates BRF On D.Sc UNIBEN Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Renowned Right activist and Convener\/National President, Campaign for Dignity in Governance, Comrade Razaq Olokoba has felicitated with former Governor of Lagos and immediate Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) on the award of Honorary Doctor Degree in Science (D.Sc), by his Alma matter, University of Benin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Fashola, who was honoured along with other seven distinguished Nigerians was described by Olokoba as a worthy alumnus who merited the honour without lobbying for it saying, \u201cIt\u2019s a well-deserved cap that fits his head squarely without further adjustment.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">According to him, the brilliant Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has been on the radar of the Campaign for Dignity in Governance (CDG) since his period as the Chief of Staff to the present President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to when he became the Governor of Lagos State down to when he became a super minister and he was never found wanting,\u201d declaring that, \u201cBRF\u2019s performance can be likened to natural smoke that can never be concealed.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The youthful Convener of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) numbering over 70 other rights groups and pro-democracy organizations said, \u201cThroughout the period he was being monitored, Fashola proved to be an administrator whose focus is on the good of the populace, progress of the country and general welfare of the general comfort of the citizenry.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Olokoba, who asserted during a brief media interaction in Lagos Monday that, society rewards excellence therefore urged all those in the office of power to emulate Fashola who is being recognized for his selfless services to humanity, pointing out that, \u201cWho monitor you are not making noise and would not make noise about it until they would come up with a deserved up with an award befitting you and be celebrated like Fashola.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Besides countless awards he has netted into his kitty, the vocal social commentator observed that, \u201cFashola, left right and centre still continues gathering and will still collecting more,\u201d going down the memory lane that, \u201cit\u2019s not a gainsaying that his unassuming posture when rendering quality services to humanity that has put him where he is today as Governor of the most commercially viable, politically vibrant and most economically heartbeat of the country reputed for being the giant of Africa.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Concluding, Olokoba, on behalf of numerous human rights groups, pro-democracy organizations, Fashola\u2019s friends and well-wishers congratulates the former Minister of Works and Housing on the latest honour wishing him more of it just as he prayed the sky to be too low for his
