{"id":16726,"date":"2023-11-23T09:37:49","date_gmt":"2023-11-23T09:37:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=16726"},"modified":"2023-11-23T09:37:49","modified_gmt":"2023-11-23T09:37:49","slug":"league-of-women-voters-reject-moves-by-national-president-to-impose-executives-in-lagos-abuja","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=16726","title":{"rendered":"League Of Women Voters Reject Moves By National President To Impose Executives In Lagos, Abuja"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Some members of the League of Women Voters in Nigeria have rejected the moves by the National President of the group Hon Irene Awunah-Ikyegh to impose new executives on members in Lagos and Abuja.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Ahead of the inauguration of the new executives in Abuja tomorrow, Wednesday November 23, the aggrieved members vowed to resist the attempt saying those already elected should be allowed to serve them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">During a recent election conducted in Lagos,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Mrs Toyin Bamisaye-Oni emerged as Chairperson while Mrs Helen A A Ogundipe was elected as Gen Secretary. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Other members of the executives are Mrs Nike Ogunfuye; Welfare Officer, Mrs Sikiratu Adeola; Asst Welfare Officer, Mrs Afolake A. Badejo;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Financial Officer, Mrs Amaka Ogunleye; Asst<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Fin Officer, Mrs Jumoke Adesua; Public<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Relation Officer, Lady Laurretta Asemota;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Program Officer, Mrs Amina Ismaila Q;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Youth Officer, Barr. Odunayo;<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Legal Adviser, <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Mrs Tolu Ogunmokun; Treasurer Officer,<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Mrs Asabi Adeniyi Auditor and Mrs Eniola Olukani Edokhai, Senatorial Officer<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">However, the National President of the group, posted the information below on the WhatsApp platform expressing the moves to impose executives on Lagos and Abuja chapters:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF NIGERIA (NILOWV)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">INTERNAL MEMO. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">ATTENTION ALL STATE CHAIRPERSON: 20th November 2023<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The board of the League of women voters in considering the percularities of the Center of Excellence Lagos state and the Federal Capital territory, Abuja and their dynamics have granted a waiver to the national president to appoint Erelu Ekin Pearl Ogbulu as chair of Lagos State and Amb Zugwei Anita Chukwu BSc PA (Hons), JP, as FCT chair respectively. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Erelu Okin Pearl Ogbulu, ERELU OKIN OF ORILE KEMTA, EGBALAND, she has Ph.D. PETROLEUM MANAGEMENT, EUROPAN AMERICAN UNIVERSITY, COMMONWEALTH OF DOMINICA HONORIS. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">She is a Prodigious BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST accomplished at processing large-scale stores of disorganized data into harmonious and accessible Business Intelligence tools. Deft at providing easily understood dashboards and tools. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Noted creator of media accessible to<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">anyone from senior executives to customer service personnel. Organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Willingness to take on added responsibilities to<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">meet team goals. We appeal for cooperation from leaguers in this chapters and key into all activities for the collective good of all as all hands are required to be on deck so that together we shall achieve an inclusive and prosperous Nigeria for all women. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Together We Can!
