Olusegun Olulade, has applauded the recent decision by the Lagos Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal to dismiss the petitions brought by Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and the Labour Party, as well as Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, of the People\u2019s Democratic Party against Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat.<\/p>\n<p>The ruling according to Hon. Olulade, reaffirms the legitimacy of Governor Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat&#8217;s victory in the March 18 governorship election and upholds the will of the Lagosian electorate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis verdict is a testament to the trust and confidence the people of Lagos have placed in Governor Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat&#8217;s leadership.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt reaffirms the will of the electorate and strengthens our democratic institutions,\u201d said Olulade, President of the Eleniyan Cares Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Hon. Olulade called on Governor Sanwo-Olu and Dr. Hamza to see the tribunal\u2019s verdict as an opportune moment to consolidate on the remarkable achievements of his first term.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe progress witnessed in Lagos State under their leadership have been commendable, and now is the right time to build on these successes for the betterment of our great state,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>The two terms member of the state assembly in the spirit of unity and collective progress, extended a heartfelt invitation to Jandor and Rhodes-Vivour to join hands with Gov. Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat in the task of building a stronger and more prosperous Lagos State.<\/p>\n<p>He stated further that the duo remains committed to his mission of making a positive impact on the lives of Lagosians, and thereby urged Jandor, Rhodes-Vivour, and all well-meaning individuals to join us in this noble endeavor.<\/p>\n<p>According to him,\u201dLagos State is our collective responsibility, and together, we can work towards a more prosperous and vibrant Lagos for all.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLagos belongs to all of us, and our collective efforts can lead to greater achievements and an even brighter future for our beloved state.
