Two years ago, we begin this wonderful journey. You all went out to give us your mandate and we are here today counting two years. <\/span><\/p>\n

Firstly, I have to give God the glory for letting us get this far and also my mentor Hon. Temitope Adewale Adedeji, member representing constituency 01 at the Lagos State House of Assembly for his usual support, guidance and encouragement from the beginning. <\/span><\/p>\n

I also must acknowledge the support of my able boss, the Executive Chairman of Ifako Ijaiye Local Government, Hon. (Prince) Usman Akanbi Hamzat, whose support has been so tremendous on all fronts, in fact, I am grateful.<\/span><\/p>\n

The content of this document depicts love, friendship, loyalty and the trust placed in me by the good people of my ward as their councilor, representing Ward C2 at the legislative arm of Ifako Ijaiye Local Government.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2021, I set out on a journey to explore,\u00a0<\/span>develop and implement innovative ideas for the development of our very own ward with the zeal to take the Ifako Ijaiye local government to the next level.<\/p>\n

Basically, the three basic responsibilities of a\u00a0<\/span>lawmaker are Representation, Lawmaking and Oversight but my vision to see my constituent thrive among others, was key to my aspiration to represent my people.<\/p>\n

The journey has not being easy but gets\u00a0<\/span>excited by the challenge to improve and make substantive impact as each day passes by.<\/p>\n

I believe passionately in the idea of making a\u00a0<\/span>difference by ensuring that our constituents enjoy full dividends of democracy and also create an avenue focused on building the capacity of the youth for future purpose.<\/p>\n

In over 2 years, I have been able to showcase my intentions through my delegations and\u00a0<\/span>achievements. I have also represented you all considerably by participating in bills processes that has become bye laws while I extensively scrutinize and ensure proper utilization of tax payers money through our oversight functions.<\/p>\n

I have also raise the bar in making impacts in the educational sector, health sector as well as facilitating some road constructions and installation of pipe borne water among others.<\/span><\/p>\n

This document shall reveal to us my achievements so far in this regards as well as\u00a0<\/span>other activities which has catapulted the ward\u00a0 to being a toast of others.<\/p>\n

Stated below, are list of my achievements so far: <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Reconstruction of borehole in mojisola street.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Organizing a maiden community stakeholder meeting within the Ward to herness unity and love amongst all residents.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Supports students of the community with free 15 GCE forms and free tutorials class to all beneficiaries. <\/span><\/p>\n

4. Distribution of 2000 note books to student withing the community.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Brought LASSRA officers to strategic point in the community to ensure easy registration. <\/span><\/p>\n

6. Donation of refreshment to 4 public primary school teachers to celebrate year 2021 & 2022 Teacher\u2019s Day at Karaole, Ayanleye, Coker<\/span><\/p>\n

7. Joined the teeming Youths of the ward to celebrate the world clean up Day 2021 and support the LAWMA officials with the necessary tools to aid ease and proper delivery of their duties and to propagate their saying “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”.<\/span><\/p>\n

8. As part of my legislative duties, i went on inspection tour to Bishop Oluwole primary school to inspect the blocks of classrooms being constructed by Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat led administration.<\/span><\/p>\n

9. Inspection of Rafatu road in Iju Ishaga, Orimolade street and Eyiowuawi street and was successfully completed <\/span><\/p>\n

10. Provision of second newly built bore hole at mojisola street by the member house of assembly representing FKJ 01.<\/span><\/p>\n

11. Provision of food packs to the less privileged.<\/span><\/p>\n

12. Led the youths of my Ward to emerge bronze winner in the maiden UAH inter Ward football competition.<\/span><\/p>\n

13. 50 Scholarship for students in Ifako Ijaiye to Graceland Polytechnic.<\/span><\/p>\n

14. Free 25 Jamb forms to students in Ifako Ijaiye. <\/span><\/p>\n

15. Cash gifts, food items to Mosques & Constituents.<\/span><\/p>\n

16. As the chairman house committee on works, housing and infrastructural, I joined the leader of the legislative arm, the executive chairman and the house of representative member to inspect the eroding part of the Obawole bridge to ascertain the level of its damage. Also visited the newly built Obawole public primary school facilitated by the member House of Representative Hon. James Adisa Owolabi.<\/span><\/p>\n

16. Moved a motion at the floor of the house to rescue Oluwakemi close from flood to enhance adequate living and safety for the entire household within the community & also moved motion for all contractors to come defend their various awarded project couple with their document and tender board that shows various specifications as the chairman house committee on works & infrastructure at the legislative chamber.<\/span><\/p>\n

17. As the chairman house committee on works and infrastructure, the honorable councilor representing Ward C2, i moved a motion to invite the member house of assembly on a 3 Days working tour as part of our oversight function to all completed and ongoing project in the local government, areas affected by the ecological disaster and also appreciate the state government for laudable project in the local government.<\/span><\/p>\n

18. Partnership with a foreign tech company in the UK (UTIVA TECH) to empower 20 youth with Free Tech Scholarship in my Ward. Also partnered with companies like Noble Synthetic Hair & Solphia Xpression in my ward and they were assured of job opportunities for the youth. <\/span><\/p>\n

19. Empowered 30 widows, Aged & Artisans with cash worth of three hundred thousand naira (#300,000).<\/span><\/p>\n

20 Facilitated the distribution of three slots of IBILE YOUTH INITIATIVE 2022 form to students in my ward.<\/span><\/p>\n

21. Introduction of new year community needs assessment and PVC sensitization towards the election which helps in ascertaining the total outcome of the results of the previous election in the local government.<\/span><\/p>\n

22. Distribution of free jamb form for the 3rd edition of my educational outreach to students within the community.<\/span><\/p>\n

23. Facilitated loan scheme from the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) for my constituent.<\/span><\/p>\n

24.Interface with the community leaders , zonal coordinators and all CDAs in his constituency. <\/span><\/p>\n

25. Donation of 200k cash support to some youth organizations and movement in my constituency. The beneficiaries are; Mojisola Youth Movement, Coker Youth Movement and Arogangan community. <\/span><\/p>\n

26. Distribution of sewing machine and cash gift to some of my constituents as part of the second phase of my community empowerment.<\/span><\/p>\n

27. Supervision of the longest road construction in my local government, facilitated by Hon. Adewale Temmitope Adedeji JAH.<\/span><\/p>\n

28. As part of my educational support outreach, I sponsored the annual inter house sport competition of Ayanleye Memorial Primary School and I decorated by the pupils as the patron.<\/span><\/p>\n

29. As the chairman house committee on business rule, I paid a short courtesy visit to the Access Bank and also designed part of the sponsorship programme with the banking institution in other to continue to engage the community and also discussed on matter relating to the growth and wellbeing of our community.<\/span><\/p>\n

30. As a first timer at the legislative arm, I was able to proof my capability by records and granted couple of appointments during the campaign election of BAT\/SHETTI, were I served as member of the PCC national youth coordination (south west) , Member South west JAGABAN Army Lagos brigade & ICC Youth and mobilization. <\/span><\/p>\n

I was nominated for several global awards. I won five different awards which includes The most outstanding councilor of the year 2022 by Global times. In the year 2023, I was given a recommendation award by the prestigious Yaba college of tech (YABATECH) for my contributions to the student leadership growth, hardwork , dedication and commitment to the student community and many more.<\/span><\/p>\n

31. During the electioneering campaign period, I organized community games such as chess, Ayo Oloopon, scrabble and table tennis for my constituents. Winners went home with cash gift prizes.<\/span><\/p>\n

32. I rolled out the 3rd phase of my community empowerment program by giving out cash gift and food items to my constituents, to cushion the effects of cash crunched faced by the people which made it hard for them to feed and cater for their family<\/span><\/p>\n

33. During the past election, I engaged my community through house to house and door to door campaign to mobilize for all APC candidates. These gestures involves the distribution of souvenirs, cash gift and food items to individual households and it yield a positive results.<\/span><\/p>\n

34. I donated Ramadan package relief to Muslims in my community, organized public lectures in loving memory of my late parents and doles out cash gift to mosques.<\/span><\/p>\n

35. I facilitated the rehabilitation of roads within my community. They are; Mojisola street, Ajenifuja Street, and lots more through the office of member, house of assembly (Hon. Adewale Temitope Adedeji) and member, Lagos state public school rehabilitation who was the former sole of the local government (Hon. BIQ Rajh Label).<\/span><\/p>\n

36. I\u2019m set to partner with the GOLDPLUG ENT to introduce the HOOD BLOCK PARTY to the youth of my community which will serve as an avenue for everyone to come together yearly to have fun and also support the present administration.<\/span><\/p>\n

37. I facilitated the free health scheme brought to my community by the Lagos state health management agency LASHMA, to ensure free medical health care for all every individuals. <\/span><\/p>\n

38. I\u2019m equally set to organize a community engagement with stakeholder, leaders and members of my community to sensitize them on the topic \u201cwaste management; challenges, importance & it\u2019s possible solutions\u201d which the HOD, Environmental Health Services Department. Ifako Ijaiye LG is the guest speaker. <\/span><\/p>\n
