The Online News Writers Association (ONWA) has congratulated the newly sworn-in president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his vice, Alhaji Kashim Shettima as the duo just took the oath of allegiance to take Nigeria to the promised land.<\/p>\n
In a statement released by the association and signed by its president, Mrs Omobola Oguntayo,\u00a0 <\/span>it urged the new administration under the leadership of Tinubu to hit the ground running and ensure the country is rescued from the brink of collapse it eventually found itself as a result of\u00a0 <\/span>bad governance experienced in the recent past.<\/span><\/p>\n The association also pledged its unwavering support to the new administration in ensuring its policies are projected even beyond the shores of the country while also enjoining the\u00a0 <\/span>new government to shun distraction and not\u00a0 <\/span>embark on any\u00a0 <\/span>initiative or policy that may appear precarious to the Renewed Hope mantra as entrenched in its agenda.<\/span><\/p>\n Also, the association charged the new administration to ensure the much anticipated dividends of democracy are delivered to all and sundry irrespective of religious, political or ethnic affiliation. <\/span><\/p>\n “On behalf of Online News Writers Association, I hereby congratulate you on your swearing in as the president of our dear nation, Nigeria.<\/span><\/p>\n ” Our best wishes are for your success as you you prepare to take up the responsibilities and challenges as the president of this country.
