Man Rapes Minor In Front Of Monarch\u2019s Palace In Badagry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A nine-year old girl, (name withheld) has reportedly been raped in front of a monarch\u2019s palace in Badagry, Lagos, southwest Nigeria.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It was reliably gathered that the hapless victim was raped by a 47-year old man identified as Adebayo Isaiah in broad day light right opposite the Baale of Mowo\u2019s Palace despite the retinue of security men within the palace.<\/p>\n<p>Mad House Naija learnt that the act transpired in the evening of the fateful day while others suspected to be Palace aides were there watching in admiration.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was subsequently allowed to go home after the act, bleeding from her private part.<\/p>\n<p>The teenager on getting home, told her parents what happened to her.<\/p>\n<p>The ugly incident it was further gathered threw up a wild protest in the area.<\/p>\n<p>The situation was brought under control by the arrival of men of the Nigerian police.<\/p>\n<p>Following police investigation, the suspect, Adebayo Isaiah was arrested and charged before Apapa family court for the alleged sexual assault and was remanded in prison custody.<\/p>\n<p>He was charged for unlawful carnal knowledge of the minor but he denied and pleaded not guilty.<\/p>\n<p>According to Police, the suspect allegedly held the victim while she was returning home, intimidated her, pulled her pant and penetrated her forcefully.<\/p>\n<p>The matter was initially handled at the Badagry Magistrates court and was transferred to family court before the presiding Magistrate at Court Four Apapa and he also pleaded not guilty.<\/p>\n<p>He was granted bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.<\/p>\n<p>The pervert was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition, while the matter was adjourned till 26 June 2017.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A nine-year old girl, (name withheld) has reportedly been raped in front of a monarch\u2019s palace in Badagry, Lagos, southwest Nigeria.
