Or is it the basic school fund which they embezzled, which we came to rectify and now working hard to restore over 600 schools to basic standard, from the decayed schools they left behind that they are tired of?

Olokoba is in agreement with the governor where he (Governor) said, “Anyway, we should understand where there frustration is coming from because they have been denied access to treasury pilfering and looting of our common patronage.”

Itemising the failures of the immediate past administration in the state, Abdur-Razaq alleged that, “they awarded the Post Office flyover on behalf of the federal government at an inflated contract sum, which the federal government paid for, they took bond to construct KWASU campuses at Osi and Ilesha Baruba, but abandoned it despite accessing the bond. We have to start construction work on the two campuses to ensure the delivery of the facilities for the use of our people.”

Not done with the accusation against the past government, Abdur-Razaq regretted that, “they also took a bond which we are still repaying to construct the Metropolitan Square, despite accessing the bond, the project has remained uncompleted.”

He was also quoted as complaining that, “they placed state account as guarantee to secure loan for the dead Shongai Farm but today, AMCON has taken the State Government to court over the loan and debt incurred on Shongai Farm.”

The youthful youth leader who expressed the delight at the way and manner the governor was being vehement and assertive in his submission, stated that, “the best form of defence is coordinated attack,” lauding the governor for taking the bull by the horn to put the opposition in their right place.

With what has happened, the right activist is of the belief that, the onus is now on the opposition to go back to their archives to find answers to all the posers raised, submitting that, “by now, the good people of the state must have started drawing a line of comparison between the sitting government and the past administration.

In conclusion, Olokoba tasked the governor to always push the opposition to the defensive section of the field of play so they cannot have enough space to distract him, reminding him that, “to make his second term in office as pleasurable as having bread and tea for breakfast, the opposition must be kept at bay by reeling out his administration’s performance which is factual, visible and concrete.

A pro-democracy organization, Razaq Kolade Olokoba Political Network, has commended Kwara State Governor, Abdur-Rahman Abdur-Razaq for opening up and tackling the major opposition party in the state, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), praising him for heeding the candid advice from the group.

[3
111,5008,110
post-10796","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-politics","tag-apc","tag-kwara-2023","tag-pdp
