{"id":10668,"date":"2022-10-22T18:47:52","date_gmt":"2022-10-22T18:47:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=10668"},"modified":"2022-10-22T18:47:52","modified_gmt":"2022-10-22T18:47:52","slug":"zenith-bank-hacker-cbn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=10668","title":{"rendered":"Zenith Bank: N6million Mysteriously Disappears From Customers Account, Victim Laments Bank\u2019s Unprofessionalism"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zenithbank.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Zenith Bank<\/a> customer has narrated how the sum of N6 million disappeared from her account through the operation of hackers in the early hours of Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The victim identified with her Twitter handle as @fashionjuel, in a series of tweets on Friday, stated that she was soliciting the help of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbn.gov.ng\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Central Bank of Nigeria<\/a> (CBN) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/fccpc.gov.ng\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission<\/a> (FCCPC) to investigate how the money, her entire savings were withdrawn from her account by hackers within 15 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Her tweet reads:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI\u2019m calling on @cenbank @fccpcnigeria to help me investigate a fraudulent transaction that took place in my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zenithbank.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Zenith<\/a> account in the early hours of the 21st of October, 2022, thereby withdrawing a total of 6m naira from my account in the space of about 15 minutes,\u201d she wrote on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI had woken up at about past 1am hoping to join the #hallelujahChallenge when I discovered this. All my savings. Everything I had worked for several years, the porosity of the bank.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">She said that when she visited a branch of the bank, she was told the fraud team would address the issue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cOn the 21st of October, 2022, I got to the bank at some minutes before 9 am and the unprofessionalism of the bankers put me off. I was passed from one manager to the next until I was passed to this lady here. She kept me waiting for 35 minutes before she told me\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cShe told me the bank\u2019s fraud team were working on it and that I should go. Go?
