{"id":10570,"date":"2022-10-04T21:07:19","date_gmt":"2022-10-04T21:07:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=10570"},"modified":"2022-10-04T21:07:19","modified_gmt":"2022-10-04T21:07:19","slug":"growing-poverty-in-nigeria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=10570","title":{"rendered":"Nigeria At 62: Lagos Assembly Charges FG To Tackle Growing Poverty Across The Country"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">As Nigeria marks its 62nd Independence anniversary, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lagoshouseofassembly.gov.ng\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lagos State House of Assembly<\/a> on Tuesday called on the Federal Government to urgently solve the challenge of growing poverty across the country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The House also urged the <a href=\"https:\/\/nass.gov.ng\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">National Assembly<\/a> to look again at the calls by citizens of the country for fiscal federalism and devolution of power.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon.
