{"id":10533,"date":"2022-09-26T16:52:26","date_gmt":"2022-09-26T16:52:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=10533"},"modified":"2022-09-26T16:52:26","modified_gmt":"2022-09-26T16:52:26","slug":"federal-lawmaker-calls-for-violence-free-electioneering-campaigns-ahead-of-september-28-kick-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=10533","title":{"rendered":"Federal Lawmaker Calls For Violence Free Electioneering Campaigns Ahead Of September 28 Kick Off"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">As Political parties and flag bearers set to commence campaign for 2023 General elections, a federal lawmaker, Hon HAKEEM ADEREMI has cautioned against all forms of disturbance during the exercise.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He also advised the youths to protect their futures and not allow themselves be used as instruments of violence during the campaigns.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">While speaking with our correspondent in Lagos, Hon ADEREMI said what Nigerians should demand from political parties and their candidates is issue based campaigns.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The federal lawmaker noted that Nigerians should be prepared to ask party flag bearers questions on how they intend to provide solution to challenges facing the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He however believed that President BUHARI had did his best for the country within the resources available to him under the current circumstances.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Campaign for the Presidential and <a href=\"https:\/\/nass.gov.ng\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">National Assembly<\/a> elections will kick off on September 28 in line with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inecnigeria.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">INEC<\/a> guidelines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Eighteen political parties are fielding candidates for the Presidential Election but the front line candidates include; BOLA TINUBU of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apc.com.ng\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">APC<\/a>, ATIKU ABUBAKAR of the PDP, PETER OBI of the Labour Party and the NNPP RABIU KWANKWASO.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As Political parties and flag bearers set to commence campaign for 2023 General elections, a federal lawmaker, Hon HAKEEM ADEREMI has cautioned against all forms of disturbance during the exercise.
